Last Spring/Summer I was a lovelorn Prince, a hungry wolf, and a wicked stepsister in the Arden Theatre's production of Into the Woods. This year, I return to the Arden to play a simple, yet sweet, young competitor named Leaf Coneybear in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. The show will be running May 25 - June 26. Be sure to visit Arden's website to buy your tickets

Playing the same role in different productions is such a unique experience. I was fortunate to play the role of Jimmy Powers both at Florida Repertory Theatre and, more recently, at Orlando Shakespeare Theatre productions of Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill. While my character doesn't speak much, Jimmy plays such an integral part of Billie Holiday's story. He is the glue that holds the evening's performance together as Lady Day spirals into her addictions.

America was forced to face the issues of racism in its institutions. I along with a group of Black theatre artists gathered to form the Black Theatre Alliance of Philadelphia to help support Black theatre artists in the greater Philadelphia Area. Learn More about BTAP here.
